Manchester Road Board.

A meeting of the above Board . was held on Saturday. Present — Messrs Macarthur, (chairman), Bailey, Whibley, and Lmton. The minuteg of previous; meting were read and confirmed; 1 Correspondence was read and dealt with as follows : — From Gr. J}. Aldrich re rates. From same for slaughter license. ■ From Returning Officer, notifying that Messrs Whibley, Grammar, Ciuninings, Brown and lieid had been elected a - licensing committee tor -the Ashurst district;. :?• -' - .;' ; • ■.
