They behaved themselves m an orderly manner during 1 their stay m the Waitara district, and caused the inhabitants no trouble. -On the contrary, they materially increased trade there, as they made purchases from the maorityj of the tradesmen to: the extent of several hundreds of pounds! They indulged m a 'march round'.the.Waitara township and across the bridge, but! they first obtained permission of Mr Pardy. We understand that Te Whiti' has given strict instructions to his followers to m no way disobey the police, ; and, if the police warn them that they are breaking the law, they must desist at once.
