The contractors tor conveying the stone from the mine to the battery have got down all the stone' (about "100 tons/ vet brought to grass, but it is not likely that crushing will be commenced until there is a larger supply of water available at the battery.' The creek is ptill very scanty owitig to the dry weather. The battery will be iv perfect order for commencing work to moiTOW;^^ Wellington paper.
