Formal Opening of a Bridge.
. — «, (united pbess association ) • Woodville, Tuesday. ' The bridge across the Manawatu, at Kuiueroa, erected at a cost of over £3000, | was formally opened by Mrs- Smith, wife' of Mr Smith, M.H.R., yesterday.' The visitors were afterwards entertained at luncheon, and in, the .evening aisuccess- . 'iiil concert and ball took place. Mr H. G. Garlsen, of Danevirke, was the contractor.
