The Colling wood Bank Robbery.
HEAVY SENTENCES. (electric telkgrapl'. — copirtgiit,) (reuter's telegrams.) Melbourne, Monday. The prisoners charged with the Collingwoocl Bank robbery were tried to-day at the criminal session. Beale who was the leading spirit in the attempt' was sentenced to ex^ht years 1 imprisonment, while his accomplices Murray and Hopkins received six vears each. The other prisoners were acquitted by the jury. • .
