Every means were taken to relieve the pain of the sufferer, but hesdied m fonr hours; so great were the injuries received. Farriei" had to walk 1 some dis'-" tance before receiving assistance, at the -same time the' 'flesh being neatly all boiled off his feot ti he having been a considerable time m the boiling geyser before he managed to scramble out.
