Loss of the Keich Fanny.

FOUR LIVES LOST.

The steamer Macgregor brought to Auckland this morning ihe Cap am and crew of the Auckland ketch Fanny totally lost on Tuesday uight near Bream Head. Mrs Turtibull, who was a passenger add her three children were drowned. The heavy gale was the cause of the casualty, causing the vessel to go ashore, and the seas made a clean breach over hvr. Thu passengers were lashed to the mweu mast, but were afterwards removed to the companion aft. About daylight two of tlie children died ; the vessel afterwards brokti up. Thu captain and crew managed to get ashore. Mrs luriibull was a hotel-keeper's wife at Mangonui, and her children were aged 13 years, 2 years and 18 moutlis respectively.
