The following is one of '♦ iEgles " yarns :— " They were both blue ribbon men, and on the third day of their walking tour they made one of the most hospitable home stations m the western district. It was a regular " baker," aud the water by the way had been as scarce as angels' visits. Unknowingly M 'Long wool handed them two glasses of milk punch, and unknowingly they drained them. The tourist with the most blue ribbon showing at his buttonhols looked at M'Longwool for a moment, and then from his lips, still moivt with the vector of the gods; burst forth the words, 'By Jove 1 what a cow.' " Surely no one would be simple enough to bo tempted with a palpable "draw " like the following, which, is the second edition of the notice we recently reprinted from the Yost " J. Barrington having become acquainted with a most wonderful way of investing money, I a*n determined to let the working-class and general public have the benefit of the secret by giving £1 per mouth tori!3o.
