• The district meeting of Oddfellows was held on Friday night m the Lodgerooin, Wanganui, when there were present—G.M., Bro Bamber. (in the chair) ; BrosHood.Hollow, Benefield, MoElwain,. Lawrie, Jefcott, Thompson, Spurdle^ Garner (Wanganui), Mowleni, Woods' (Pahnerston), Bade (Erilding); and MqLaughlan (Fordell). The minutes of the ! previous meeting were read and conr, firmed, and the balance-sheets for the i district and the various Lodges adopted, j A notice of motion by Bro Nix of the j Manchester Lodge m favor of holding half-yearly : m place of quarterly meetings was lost. Copies of letters' iron* the Invercargitl district m favor of admitting travelling members at the same rates of subscription, as those current m their own lodges, and also of granting them j medical relief when out of their own dis-tricts-were ordered.. to 'be sentitb each'j lodge with a view to obtaining a report lor next meeting. Wright presented P.P.G.M. Bro Bamber with^ twb^past master's embleina, for which' „ the recipient resDonded m an appropriate ; manner. It was. resolved that the name [ pt P.P.G.M.
