Diomedes was awarded first prize at the Wanganui A. and P. Association's Show as a sire best calculated to improve the bi'fced of saddle horses. Diomedes is a rich bay with black points, stauding 16$ hands high, with immense bone and muscle, good action, is 7 years old, and is considered to be one of the best cross-country horses m New Zealand.
