His sire, the pure imported Clydesdale horse. Fowler's Wallace, bred by Mr Donald McKinley., Wouldhani Hall, near Gloucester, out of. a pure Clydesdale mare, bred by Mr J. N. Fleming, Campbelton, Scotland ; her sire, the celebrated horse Lofty Wallace, gained several first prizes before leaving the Old Country. Maggie was bred by Mr Sutherland, Taieri, Ota^i). out of a Napoleon marc, by Sir William Wallace (imported). Sir William Wallace bred by William Anderson, Esq., Kirkmichael, Ayrshire, out of Brisk, by Garibaldi. As a yearling took first prize at Maybole, Kirkmichael, and Glasgo>v, and second at Ayr.
