Christchurch Wool Sales.
(UNITED PEESS ASSOCIATION.) Chhistchorch, Friday. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited), held their third wool sale of the season to day, when 3000 bales were sold out of 1350 offered. Buyers were numerous, and the competition wa« keen throughout, prices displaying a decided advance on opening rates. Greasy halfbred realised up to B|d ; crossbred up to 7£d ; merino, up to 7d ; and scoured merino up to 13* d.
