The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) held their usual weekly sale this afternoon, when an important catalogue, comprising some 5200 bales, was submitted to ths public. The biddings were animated m character, and prices were firmly main* tainod, all good wools m particular eliciting spirited competition ; the ton* of the market being generally brisk with an upward tendency.
