( UNITKD "PRESS ASSOCIATION.") London, Due. 8. Mr Mclllhone's appeal m the Browne will case at Singleton, New South Wales, bus been dismissed by the Privy Council with costs. Dec. 9. The London limes to-day m discussing the resolution of Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia, and Fiji to establish a Federal Council constituted of representatives of these colonies, applauds the decision arrived at, and expresses regret at the paucity of the members composing the Federal , Council and at the refusal of 'New South ' Wales and New Zealand to join it, but declares at the same time that the formal establishment of the Council, even although its range be limited, is a question of primary importance. With regard to the direct denial which has been given by the Archbishop of Canterbury to the statement that it Dad been deided to debar colonially ordained clergymen from ministration m England, complaints are now made by colonial clergymen that although they are not absolutely inhibited, the licenses which they receive, permitting them to officiate, are only temporary. • Parnell, the leader of the Irish party, has delivered an address m the course o f which, after alluding to the result of the general elections as far as they had been proceeded with, he said that he r« liod upon the Liberal section of the new Parliament to concfide to the demands of himself and his followers regarding the Government of Ireland.
