i From the Marton paper's report of th« last meeting of the Ranstftikei County Council, we. notice that the treasurer reported that the funds oi th« Roads and Bridges Construction Aot account had been overdrawn to the amount of £1100, which sum they had expected to get through the said Act, but now the Government wanted to back out of it. He. believed the Government were liable 'for the amount, and that they would have to pay it.
