Important Native Land Judgment
« (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Gisbobne, Monday. Judgement for the subdivision of tho Kaite Block, which has been 17 years before the Native Land Court, was given to-day by Chief Judge M'Donald and Judge Williams, after rehearing on. appeal. The block is a . most valuable,, one of 4000 actaa adjoining the towti,., and from it th« now harbour is to be built. By tho judgment of to-day oue-. third m value of the block is awarded to Reparata and party, aud two-thirds m valuo to Harris and party. The court has yit to ascertain the value, so as to allocate the land accordingly, and will then proceed to further sub-divide the land between those who have sold their interests and those who have not sold.
