The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following telegram from London, dated the Bth instant :— The wheat Jmarket is steady, Adelaide being worth 37s and Wow Zealand (average quality), 33s per 4961b8. New Zealand long berried is worth 35s 6d per 4961bs ; Adelaide, f.a.q., (e.i.f. to arrive), 36s per 4801b8 ; ditto iron ship, December bill o£ lad ing, 365. The tallow market is steady, pood mutton and beef being worth 25s 6d and 24s Gd per cwt respectively. The leather market is firm, best sides being worth ll£il per lb. The tin market is steady. Fine Australian, m warehouse, is worth £93 15s per ton. Mother of pearl shells, quotations are unchanged. The New Zealand hemp market is quiet. Fine is worth £26 per ton, quotations for other qualities being unchanged. Kauri gum continues dull of sale. Good scraped pale brownish amber is worth 75s per cwt. Good pale scraped, aud three parts scraped, garbled sorts are worth 74s per cwt. Mednun half scraped garbled sorts are worth 44s per cwt.
