Melbourne. Wednse.lay. Messrs Golilsborough and Co. (Limited) held their usual weekly sale- of wool <ioday. The attendance of buyers was 1 large, and the competition for the various lots offered was of an animated character. Some 6100 bales were disposed of, buyers operating freely for America for light conditioned wools. Greasy merino sold up to lid per 1b ; scoured wools brought as muoh as. ls 6£d; while for washed fleeces the highest price obtained was li 2£d. ■ ~ .
