MR ALFRED BUCKLAND'S REPORT, At the Haymarket on Friday last horse stock were yarded m full numbers, and a draft of young, sound horses, sold freely, medium draft ranged from £15 to .£27 ; light harness, £8 to £14. At Rein uer a, on Thursday, not many dairy cattle were yarded. Those were at late _vaUies._JStons cattle weifeTplentiful, and mostly of a good class (well-bred,~gro\vn steers, m fresh condition) : those brought ;an average or £5. Other kinds bfi store cattle were also m demand at full, rates. Fat cattle m full number and dull of sale. Many were withdrawn. Heavy arrivals j during: the week, from ttite coast (princi- | pally from Waitara), m all exceeding 200 head, has occasioned a fall m price of j about 2s the lOOlbs; prices ranged from 18s to 21s the lOOfts.
