Young Men's Improvement Society.
The above Society held its usual weekly meeting last night; .There was. a good attendance of members. Tne President of the Society, Eev. R. S. JBUnn, occupied the chair. A'< iJaper on Political Economy was read by Mr A. Clarke, and listened to with much interest by the members. The subject matter oi the paper was dealt with m a masterly manner by Mr Clarlie, and elicited a good deal of favourable comment amongst those present. The paper, it is expected, will be repeated on another occasion. Next Monday a social gather•jn{T m connection with the Society will close the present: session. . . ' •
