Stevens and Gorton's Report.
Bulls, Wednesday. Since our last report we have held two stock sales, at Woorlville on 12th and at Bulk yesterday. The sale at Woodville was a small but very successful one, having sold every head excepting four cows, the reserves on which were high. At Bulls we yarded over 350 head and one pen of fat sheep. The attendance was not up to what it. usually is though a good many buyers came forward, the bidding was fa.irlv brisk, but the stock beinir chiefly female were riot m such demand. We sold 300 head, and quote as follows : — ,At WoodvilK— 3-yr steers, £4 18s ; 3-yr heifers, £3 16s ; forward cows, £3 ! 10s ; store cows, £2 5s to £2 10s ; cows I and calves, £3 10a ; yearling and 2-yr mixed, £2 7s 6d ; yearling heifera, 303 to £2 { weaners steers, 28s; hack, £10. At Bulls.— Fat cows. £4 ss ; forward steers, £5 4» ; 2£-vr steers, JEB 10s ;'2-yr steers, quiet. £8 7s 6d; cows, £2 10« to £2 15s fid ; milch cowb; £8 to £4 5s 6d ; year and 18-month heifers, 37s 6d ; cows and calves, £3 ; yearlings, mixed, 32s 6d. Hacks were not m demand.
