The f ollow-ng copy of letter sent to the Melbourne Bank has been forwarded to the Wanganui Branch and. a further copy sent to Mr Liffiton. The letter speaks for itself. This treatment consisted of crushing with fine grating (300 to inch). Quicksilver m box ripnles, &c., &c., tl»e common and ordinary way of workin? quart*. ' ; The sand resulting from above crushing was then submitted to the ordinary fire tost (twice) results obtained ldwtlGgrs per ton and idtvt sgrs per ton. (Signed) Arthur Packer. P.S.
