Meeting of Justices of Peace.
According to sections 20"and;21 ofihe Justice of the Peace Act, 1882, and Amendment 1885, the above meeting ;was held to-day m the Court-house at noon. ' ; ' ■ Present— Messrs Waldegraye, McNeil, Snelson, Buick,. Hurst, |Capt. Mowlem, and Pratt. . ' ' • .;;' '' '■'"■ •; On the motion of MrMiret, Mr Snelson was elected to the chair. ' After some discussion on the question of daj's -of sitting, the following table was arranged, and ,. decided ui)on::—MqnJidays, Messrs McNeil and ; Tuesdays, Messrs Mowlem and Hurst . Wednesday?, open; Thursday^ struck out ; Fridays, Messrs Snelson and Lin'l ton ; Saturdays, Messrs Pratt andßuick. The Ist, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Wednesday's m the mpnth^it was decided, should be filled by Justices m consecutive order; aJB above. On Thursdays, not B.M. Court days, the Clerk of the Court will be required to obtain Justices when wanted. ■ No further business being required to transact the meeting adjourned.
