We often read.of the gigantic f amis of individuals and companies which are being carried on at the West and North westof oiir^own land by)our own men. But it is a curious fact that the biggest farming concern m the world is an English concern and is located m Canada. I refer to the •'! BeU^Farm,'' belonging to the Qu'Appelle-river Farming Company. This farm, consists of 54^000 acres, of which some 13,000 are under close cultivation. The:average j'ield qf the whole 13,000 acres is twenty-five to thirty bushels of- wheat per ; acre. Oh one of the best sections of 1,000 acres the yield is 35,000 bushels of wheat. Every 20p acres has upon it a cottage with a man living m it rent free, having charge qf three horses.
