I Messrs Sharman and Stovely opened $)eir Great International Circus op Satlirday evening last on the usual site off Cuba-street. The toijt, notwithstanding , " t|ho weather, which was exceedingly m - dement, was fairly well filled with., an appreciative audience. The performance throughout is one of exceptional merit, and is well worth witnessing;! The jpggHng .on^horsebaok-performid -by , the two lady riders,' was simply wonderful, and was greatlyr adminm by those present. The us^al trapige and tight, rope performances were /also carried out successfully; and l number of laughable comicalities:- introduced d&Bf m g the^eV|-rfi|i^fay;d|d3to th?jkstisq§p&i. of tho Dntertaininerit. The most astonishing part, of ,tne phqwUis thd (concluding exhibition of a horse called " Sala- ' gander" This, animal stands^ perfectly quiet undern«ath'-"atfd Bi/frdunded by, m : ajl directions^a.shower of , real fire.
