Service of Song.
The Service of Song entitled " Pilgrims' Progress" was re-rendered at Awahuri last evening by the Palraereton Presbyterian Choir. The School-house was well filled, and the audience apparently .appreciated the entertain-, ment which was throughout successfully carried out. Mr Ferguson exhibited the views m the service as given m PalmertJton with the magic-Ian teru, besides showing a variety of others, including representations of art juiodels, noted public buildings, and scenery and comic sketches.; The singers, and other visitors from Pahnerston, wei e subsequently entertained m a most hospitab c wiy at the houso |of Mr A. McDonald, after | which the party numbering about 25, m traps and on horseback, proceeded to Palmerston, arriving: shortly after 11 ; o'clock. , , , . . ■
