(Contributed). , ; ■.- \ Last evening a large gathering assembled a5 the Lyceum to hear/ Mrs Ettie Moore, of Woodville, late of>Bnlls.. Mr Thomas King occupied the chair, the subject being " Gems from the dear old book." Though treated m a manner different to what the title wouia infer, : it caused frequent applause and enthusiasms at the pointed and clear pictures of elo- ' quenco. Mr Herbert Mason o I: the, Lawrence Dramatic Company played a pianoforte solo and two accompaniments with great artistic ability and stykvbeing very highly appreciated. Miss M. Walton also gave one aceoin'p'anyinSht'.on Ijhe piano. Messrs Hewitt and' Person sans: several duets which were much eirjpyed, |
