Arrangements had been made for a week's visit by His Excellency Sir Williiain Jervois, Governor of New Zealand, to Mr Arkwright's, ftt '• Overton," Bangitikei, and preparations were being made to give him a litiug reception at Marton. We now learn, on reliable authority, that His Excellency's visit has been postponed foVa week, owing to the ilUhealth of the Governor. /, • ? .
