MESSRS BECKETT, HAMMOND, DICERS REPORT.
Mabton, Saturday. Our stock sale at the Club Yards yesterday was well attended, and the bidding for sheep brisk. Cattle were, how-ever,-slightly down, and the bidding dull. We, however, succeedeil m placing indst of the entries either under the hammer or after the sale. About double the quantity of stock advertised came forward, 120 head of cQUe and 400 sheep bein" yarded. "We qiiofio : — Cattle.— 3-yr; ; steers, £4 12s 6d ; 2-yr gfceers, £2 15a to £3 ; 2 .to 3 -yr heifers,; £1 2» to £2 10s ; yearlings, 35s ; cows, £2 7s6d. Sheep.— Fat wethers, IBi .6d to 14s, sd; wethers, 12s 6d ; hogsejs, 7s lid.
