SERVICE OF SONG AT BUNNYTHORPE.
(TO THE EDITOR OF THE STANDARD.) Sir I should lika through your columns to thank Mr and Mrs Dixou and the young people of Bimnythorpe for the great trout they gave us last Monday night. I refer to the Service of Song entitled " Jessica's First Prayer." lean candidly say that I have never heard anything half asgu.od since I have been m this district. Mr and Mrs Dixon must have worked with a will, to have made, such a success of the entertainment m so short a time, considering that some of the children previous to this had had no training whatever. I hear that we are to have it repeated at some future titnp, and would recommend all those living around Bunnythorpe to come and judgo for themselves. I am sure they will not regret it. Great praise is also due to the committee of which Ml* Clcveley wasOhainnan, forthe beautiful way m which the School-room was decorated with flowers and ferns. Hoping you will give this short letter a place. — I am, &c, A Spectator. Bunnythorpe, Sept. 23.
