SABBATH DESECRATION.
(TO THE EDITOR OF THE STANDARD.) Sir, — Permit me through your valuable columns to draw attention to a terrible evil which is growing mor-^ttd more prevalent m our midst. I fc^Bc of the drink trade. Sunday after SuniKy it is a common oocurence to .see five or six men staggering about our streets under the influence of drink, and surely our constable cannot be blind to the fact of this evil existing, though strange to say it is very seldom he is to be seen about. Hoping this will cause some enquiry to ba made. — I am, &c. One who Respects the Sabbath,
