' MESSES BECKETT, HAMMOND, AND DICK'S REPOET. Marton, Saturday. . Onr stock-sale at tho Club yards yesterday was well attended, and the bidding for cattle brisk, nearly all of which were sold under the hammer. Sheep maintained their former value, bnt on one or two pens the roserve placed hy the vendor was too high to find purchasers. 120 head of cattle and 1,500 sheep made up the sale. We quote : — Cattle.— 2-yr steers, £8 12s Gd to £3 18s ; 3-yr heifers, £3 2s 6d ; milch cows, £3 5s to £8 13s ; yearlings, mixed, £1 19s ; weaners, £1 3s 9d to £1 7s ; cows, !' 22118 6a. | Sheep. — Fat wethers, 13s M ; store wethers, 12s fid ; ewes m lamb (old), 8s Bd;lainbs, 7s 9d.
