The Native Land Court .. .was opened h«re yesterday before Judge; O'Brien and is now sitting. Mr C. W. Robert l who 'had' established his reputation for being: the manufacturer of gold- and silver band embroidery work of ecclesiastical Masonic and other descriptions is we are glad to hear about to estaWish a factory for the proper carrying dut of this industry. An experienced female hand has been sent to England for and all other necessary, arrangements are being made for the supplying pf large orders now on hand and continually being I received. Perhaps the largest, attendance at anj of the mission services being conducted m connection with All Saints' Church was that of last evening. Addresses on the subject of unity were delivered "by the Revs. Copiriger, Dodwell, and Tow- J good, and listened to attentively by the large number people present. The Rev. Mr Jones, of Feilding, also .assisted m the service. At the, close of the meeting the niissioners paid a visit to the Salvation branches and tSanked- the officers for the assistance they had spontaneously rendered m f uthering the good work. A thanksgiving service will be held this evening commencing at 8 o'clock, and is expected will be largely attended.
