Horses — Only local horses were marketed l»st Friday, but some of them sold better than has been the case for some weeks, especially those of a good stamp. Wool, Hides, and Skins — Supply moderate, demand steady ; good heavy hides sold at 4Jd per lb ; light weight, relatively lower ; skins, from 2s 3d to 3s. Fat Cattle — The demand has been m excess of supply, which on Tuesday, was barely an average one. There has been no material chauee m value, prices realising the same as on previous week. Sheep — Shipments from the West Coast have been very limited ; some prime wethers from the East Coast supplied the vacuum, and at Newmarket on Tuesday an advance of the previous week's values were given. Pigs — Supply short ; there remains an unsatisfied demand; good porkers at from 3d to 4d per lb, live weight.
