MESSRS POWERS, RUTHERFORD, AND CO.'S REPORT. Melbourne, July 15. Cattle : 2020 yarded, consisting principally of beef. The market opened dull, at a reduction of about 10s per head, but it gradully hardened as the sales progressad. Wo sold 150 head. Sheep : 13,000 yarded, the bulk being: of middling description. The. demand was brisk, and prices for the best sheep ruled Is higher, and the other descriptions also hardened m value. We sold 1500 through the yards. '
