MR FREEMAN R. JACKSON'S FORTNIGHTLY STOCK IiEPOHT. Wanganui, Wednesday. The bidding m stock at Waverley.waß rather dull, though the bulk of what came forward was soil at or after the auctions. The yards to-day were t filled with first-class stock, and all sold* at or after the auction. I have no alteration m values to report The wet day on Saturday made the hnrse sale dull, but about the u^ual quantities changed,hands at ruling rates. Cattle.— 3-yr-old steers, M 7s Gd to £o, according to qmlity ; 2-yr-olds, ; heifers, £2 10s. At St. Jlill-street i3-yr-oid, well conditioned, bullocks, £6 ; cows m calf, £2 17s 6d ; fat cows, £3 15s ; milch cows, £4 to £5 2s 6d ; yearling heifers, .£1 113. Sheep. — Wethers, lls ; ewes, 93 to 9s Gd ; old ewe 3, 4s Gd.to 6s. At St. Hillstreet: Fat wethers,- 13s; ewes, 12s; store wethers, lls 7d ; ewes and wethers, 9s 7d ; owes m lamb, 10s 9d to lls 2d ; hoprgots, lO.^s 9d. Pijp.— Bacon pigs, £2 15s; sows m pig, £2 10s; porkers, 13s Gd to 25,-s, according to quality ; young pijjs, 4s 3d to 7s. Horses. — On Saturday, draughts, £21 ; hacks, £5 to £10; weeds, £2 to £3. Miscellaneous. — Hay, £3 Is per ton ; potatoes, £2 15s to £2 17s ; drays and trap^ sold at fair values; fowls,' 2s 9d to 3s Bd the couple ; geese, Gs Gd.
