Gr Park once more shines forth m true colors not withstanding the rebuke he received at. the last Racing Cluh ineoting. For the stand he then took m seconding a resolution to. boycott the Standard, he was severely taken to task by a member, of the Club. Forgetful of the lesson he Bhp.uld have learnt then however, he now endearors with the other members qf the Finance Committee who attended the last meeting, to get the Borousrh Council to swallow a pill containing the recommendation to discontinue advertising m the Standard. Cr Park an agent of the Times no doubt fancies this line of action on his part is perfectly justifiable, but we wonder what the pubJic avill think of thisperspnagerr-Tan agent of the Times— tryingon every possible occasion to jump on the Standard, and for what reason wo are at a loss to imagine. Cr Park should take care, however, he might make a mistake some day and go too far. v A word to the wise, &c. M
