The bidding; was b.iisk, and the yards were filled with useful stock, all of which, with the exception of one lot of wethers, found buyers ai good value. About. 109 head of cattle, 1,000 sheep, and 50 pigs made up the list. We quote: — ■ Cattle. — 18 -months-old cattle (mixed), 39s 6d ; 12-months-old heifers, 295 : cows) £2 9s Gd ; milk cows, £3 Gs to £4.; 3 yi .steers, £4 Is ; 2-yr steers, £2 15s ; calves. £1. Sheep. — Store wethers, lls 9d ; fa< wethers, 12s -10d to. 12s lid ; hoggets, Zt 10d ; ewes m lamb, 8s lOd to 100 51. Pigs. — Breeding sows, £1 53 to £2 ss ; store pigs, £1 3s ; weanors, Ga.
