In the Council, referring to Colonel Brett's motion re the Christchiirch Hospital, the Colonial Secretary said that he had received a letter from Dr Stewart announcing that he -had commenced an action against the Evening Prm, Wellington, for lib' ek He therefore hppo-l that the motion would riot he proeeded with.
