("UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, Tuesday. An interesting wrestling match took place to-day. Reany defeated Fagan. One fall was disputed, but was adjudged to Reany. Another match is contemplated. Mr Bailey, of Parnell, has been aecidentallypoisoned. He took carbolic acid bymistake while under the influence of liquor. A direct line of sailing vessels between Hamburg and Auckland has been established. The first vessel, Le/nka, 636 tons, lett Hamburg on the 15th of Juno with an assorted cargo of Austrian and Genoan goods. The vessels for the present are to return home by way of the islands, loading with copra. Mr J. A. Davis has been awarded £39 damages against the Tramway Company for injuries sustained. Mr D. Rosa, of Ponsonby, now sues for £500 for a broken wrist, cansod through a car skidding. Dunedin, Tuesday. At the City Court today Stephen Hutchison was charged, on the second information, for concealing property belonging to his estate. At the Bruce nominations to-day Messrs Donald Reid, W. Hutchison, Macdonald, and ' And«rsori f were proposed. • Wellington, Tuesday. A fire broke out m Messrs Henii and Iliiiieen's turnery and woodware workshop ii» Willis-street at 9.25 o'clock this evening. The loss is about £500. It was uninsured.
