• The usual monthly meeting of the \Varigahui Education Board was held yesterday at the Board's office. Present : Messrs Watt (chairman), Fry, Sanson, Bridge, Baker, Bate, Stevens, Carson;, and the Rev. Mr Rosa. The Board's Inspector, Mr W. H. Vereker-Bindon, was also m attendance. ' APPOINTMENTS COMMITTEE. Feildiito.— Letter from the Feilding Committee asking the Board to allow them to purchase half the site referred to for £50. The Board decided not to depai't from its first resolution.' : Orotja Bridge. — Mr Simpson was allowed cost of maps supplied by him . Tenders.— The Board '"accepted the tender of 3. Fraser for the\repairs to the Palmerston residence. '\ '/''..' ' _ ' Stoney Creek. — It Was decided thatthe secretary take Tsteps to procure another five acres of, the ; reserve y. at Stoney Creek to be added to the present school site.
