Fire in Wellington.
(united phess •association.) Wellington^ Wednesday. ; A fire broke out at 1.30 this mornm? m the Preserving. Department of the Gear Meat Preserving Company. The building, was completely gutted. The fire is'supposed to have originated by heat from 6ne of the boilers setting fire to the woodworks. A short tinie since the building was found to be on fire from the same cause. The insurance arid amount of damage are not yet known. % -Later. Tha total insurance on the building plant, stock, and fittings, is £S3BB. The amount of damage is not yet estimated.
