Messrs George Thomas and Co. report produce prices as follows : — The very inclement weather has somewhat interfered with business. Potatoes are rather uncertain, and prices have decreasea"colP~ siderably, prime samples ruling from £2 15» per ton. The market is fully stocked with onions, but well-saved lots should be -vrorth £6 10s per ton. Good feed sorts are worth 2s ; fowls' wheat, 2s 5d to 2s 8d; rye grass, 3s lOd; cocksfoot, 4Jd, both slow of sale ; New Zealand flour, J8 10s to £9 ; Adelaide, slight inquiry, " £12 ; cheese, quite overstocked, 4£d to 5d ; salt butter, B£d to 9d ; fresh do, much inquired for at Is 2d to Is 3d ; hams and bacon B£d to 9d all round; faiiners' cure 7d to 8d ; honey, sd ; eggs, decreasing m valne daily, and now only worth Is 6d per dozen. Poultry — The demand is brightening up somewhat, and we hope soon to announce an increase m sale prices, which are at present without alteration.
