L ndon, June 19. Consols are quoted at 975. The total quantity or wheat afloat for the United Kingdom iB 2,660,000 quarters, or 100,000 quarters less than last week. Prime New- Zealand mutton, 5M to 5Jd. At to-day's "wool, sales, 11,600. bales -were submitted for competition, the market being dull m tone. ..
(special to united press association.) London, June 20. Wool Market. There is no advance m prices, bidding is irregular, French purchasers being ; languid. Crossbreds are id below opening rates ; greasy, scoured, and merinos are from £-d to id below April sales. Up to date 171,000 bales have been catalogued, arid 24,000 baleshave been withdrawn. Wheat Market. — The market remains inactive and unchanged. Seventeen off coast cargoes are now awaiting sale, 83s 6d is. offered. One cargo has been sold for transhipment to the Continent at 34s Bd. There have been no sales of cargoes on passage. For June shipments 37b is demanded, while 36s is all that is offered.
