Feilding Small Farm Asseciation.
A general meeting of the Fsildinfif Small Farm Association was held on Wednesday evening. Upwards of 25 members were present. Mr E. Goodbehere was voted to the chair. The Chairman Btated that the leoretary, Mr G. Bray, junr., was unavoidably absent, and an he was leaving Feilding shortly, it would be neoessary to appoint anew secretary. It wai resolved— That Mr E. Goodbehere be appointed secretary and treasurer ot the association. Resolved— That Mr Mountford be instructed to commence tho survey of the association block as soon as possible, the Government having sanctioned hit appointment. Resolved — That 100 acres be laid off m the block as a township. Resolved — That tho secretary write to the chairman of the late Halcombe Association informing him that if any of their members wished to join the Feilding Association, there were a few vacanoien. Resolved — That Mr Mountford's offer to perform the snrvoy at the following prices be accepted, viz. — If 5000 acres, 2s 5a per acre ; if 7000, 2s 4d ; and if 1000, 2s 3d per acre. A vote of thanks to the chairman concluded the meeting.
