Messrs Geovge Thomas and Co. report produce prices as folio » s : — Oats are in good supply at 2s to 2s 3d tor prime samples ; discolored do, 2d per bushel less ; wheat, for feeding purposes, 2s 6d to 2s 9d ; flour, for first brands, remain in usual request at ;£8 10s to £9. Potatoes are still very unsettled, but quotations show no alteration, £3 5s to £3 10s ruling; stocks "of cheese are still large, and trade rather quiet ; nominal quotation, 4sd per lb ; fresh butter, very scarce, v ancl firm at Is Id per lb ;*salt do, with no local inquiry, from B£d to 9£d ; eggs are on the decline ; large consignments come to hand froni all parts, and the present value is 2s to 2s 3d. Poultry—Turkeys (prime), 12s ; geese, 6s 6d ; ducks, 4s ; fowls, 3s 6d per pair.
