The New Zealand Loan and Mei*can- ' tile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cablegram from their London Office, dated 4th June. Wool. — The sales opened at level of last series to-day, except for medium and inferior greasy, for which the market is easier. Coarse crossbred has advanced from |d to nearly Id. Crossbred wools are in demand, but merinos are rather neglected. Home buyers arepurchasing freely. • The sales comprise about 320,000 bales ; 34,000 bales have, been sent direct to the manufacturing districts. "Wheat. — Market is quiet. Adelaide wheat to arrive is worth c.i.f., 36s 6d per 4801bs, June bill ; Adelaide f.a.q. is worth c.i.f. off coast, 34s per 4801bs; Adelaide is worth 35s *6d per 4961b5 ; New Zealand, 325 ; Tuscan, 34s Gd per 4961b5.
