(UNITED lUIKrtS ASSOCIATION.) Atickland, Monday. Arthur's auction mart was burglariously entered last night. £300 worth of jewellery hail boon advertised for sale to-day. A panel was cut in the back door, but the jewellery had been removed by the proprietor before closing last night, so the burglars were baulked. The Auckland ' branch of the Irish Land League has just contributed £258 to the general fund of the League, £10 to the payment of Irish members fund, and £33 to the A. M. Sullivan testimonial fund. An extraordinary dust storm occurred on Saturday night in the town and district. There was much damage to goods in shops. Some fences were levelled, but no other damage is reported.
