Prospecting at Terawhitl.
Messrs Mace Brothers, who have for many months past been prospecting on the ground at Terawhiti formerly held by the Empire Campauy, have now met with such protpecte as have induced them to take up a i«aso of 2o acre*, covering th* old ftinpire and Try Again grounds. They have Biicceoded m finding a ri'ef, which they have followed for SOUK; 15 feet and sunk 7 f«et upon, until from a few inches through it has now widened out to 18 inches thicknesi of solid stone, between well-defined walls, aud on trial yielding rich gold. The claim is to be properly surveyed and systematically worked.— Post
