Meeting of Creditors.
A first meeting of creditors m the estate of Peter Pattiaon, sawmiller, ot Piako, was held yesterday. Present— The debtor, and his solicitor Mr G. F. Hawkins, and the following creditors : J. Nathan & Co., by proxy, i?1048s sa, A. H.Wylds,£ls,Jas." Wilson, £18 16s 4d, John Breman, £17, Win. Melbourne, £43 4s sd. An application from tho debtor for an allowance was- disallowed. He was examined at considerable length, by the Deputy Official Assignee. Mr J. H. Hankins appeared for. the wages-naen of the sawmills (15) and also examined the debtor. The wages liabilities were set down at £263 15s id. Assets : timber, £200 ; Flax and other stores, £178 ; total £438. Total liabili-" ties, £526 14s 10d.
